General Visitors / Downloading Resources
Our web host (www.ionos.co.uk) provides us with an analytical tracking service that collects information from visitors to our site. This information includes:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address
- browser type and settings
- screen settings
- referring page and exit page
- operating system
- keywords used to find us
We use this information to analyse trends and to track page popularity in order that we may provide a better service.
Our site is partially funded through advertising schemes such as Google Adsense and Amazon Affilates. To determine your interests, these programmes may track your behaviour on our website and other websites across the internet through the use of a small file known as a ‘cookie’ which is placed onto your computer. This is common practice across the World Wide Web. You can find out more here:
Most browsers have settings which enable you to disable cookies being placed onto your computer. Please be aware that if you disable cookies, you will be removing functionality from many sites.
Links to other websites
This website contains links to other sites which may be of interest. Please be aware that once you have used a link to leave our site, we do not have any control over the content or policies of any new site that you visit. A link to a website does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorsement of any of the views or materials found there.
Buying Digital Downloads Through Our Site
We use a third-party payment management and download system (https://getdpd.com/) to collect payment and deliver your purchases. This system, in turn, collects payment through Paypal, another very well-known and used third-party system. When you make a purchase through us, we are provided with:
- your name (as provided to make your purchase)
- your email address
- the area from which your purchase was made (a broad area, not a specific address)
- details about which product/products were purchased
At no point are we ever provided with any credit card details or other payment information. Our understanding is that Paypal uses industry-standard encryption technology to protect your credit card number from unauthorized use. By purchasing through us you understand and agree that we are in no way responsible for any misuse of your credit card number.
Controlling your Personal Information
We do not sell, lease or distribute your personal information unless specifically requested by you or we are required by law to do so.
